The 25 watt Type 1 Solar Street and Area Light is designed to be mounted at 10'-16' feet high onto a pole, pipe, beam, or suitable flat surface. It has a built-in integrated aluminum mounting bracket that includes stainless steel nuts and bolts for securing the bracket to a suitable surface.
The 25 watt Type 1 Solar Street and Area Light can mount directly onto a standard 2⅜" (60 mm) O.D. pole or a pipe, such as a galvanized chain-link fence post or the top of a standard international street pole.
The light can also be mounted onto existing street light poles that have 2⅜" O.D. pole tenons on their tops. Single-mount adjustable tenon adapters or single or double-mount horizontal pole adapters are available to mount either one or two solar lights onto an existing street light pole (see photos above). Street pole tenon adapters are sold separately.
An integrated aluminum mounting bracket is found on each 25 watt Type 1 Solar Street and Area Light and includes the necessary hardware of stainless steel nuts and bolts to attach the bracket directly to a pole, a pole tenon, or a pole tenon adapter.
Bright Night Solar Lights work automatically, turning themselves on at dusk, and off at dawn. During the day, they automatically charge built-in LiFePO4 batteries whenever the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight. Batteries are fully charged with approximately 11-12 hours of accumulated solar panel exposure to direct sunlight.
Two lighting modes are available: Option A and Option B. These lighting modes are pre-set at the factory and must be selected at time of order. They cannot be changed after manufacture.
The light turns on automatically at dusk and shines at 100% output, or 2500 lumens, for 5 hours. After 5 hours, light output reduces to 25%, or 625 lumens, for the
next 7 hours, or until dawn, or until battery depletion, whichever occurs first.
During the 7 hour period of 25% output, the light will temporarily return to 100% bright output of 2500 lumens whenever movement or activity is sensed by the motion detector. This bright light of 2500 lumens will then last for 30 seconds, or stay on continuously for extended periods of time as long as motion is being detected by the sensor, before returning to 25% output.
The light turns on automatically at dusk and shines at
25% output, or 625 lumens, throughout the night until dawn, or battery depletion, whichever occurs first.

The All-in-One Type 1 Solar Street and Area Light is IP 65 rated and constructed of

protected by an overlay of toughened, tempered glass. Together, the toughened glass and aluminum alloy construction create an extremely durable and weather resistant outdoor area light, designed to
protect the LiFePO4 batteries and charging circuitry, and to keep the light looking great and working well for a service life of many years to come.
Tempered glass protects the solar panel and LED's, and the LED's and solar panels have an expected lifespan exceeding 10 and 20 years, respectively. The long-life lithium iron phosphate proprietary batteries are replaceable from the factory, and they generally last approximately 5 years, or 2000 charge cycles, with nightly use and daily recharging.
There are no wires whatsoever during installation of the 25 watt Type 1 Solar Street and Area Light --- it is "plug and play" --- simply bolt the light onto a pole, or mount onto a flat surface, push the recessed 'on' button with the supplied steel pin, and you're done.
Designed to operate all night on a full charge. Batteries are fully charged with approximately 11-12 hours of accumulated solar panel exposure to direct sunlight. Operating temperature of the light is -12°F to 150°F (-25°C to 65°C ). Please place the solar light in an appropriate temperature environment to achieve maximum longevity of the LiFePO4 batteries. In the Northern Hemisphere, the solar panel should face to the south, towards the direct rays of the sun to charge efficiently, this is especially important in winter when the sun is far to the south in the sky.
The 25 watt Type 1 All-in-One Solar Street and Area Light is CE and RoHS certified for use in the EU, and FCC certified for use in the USA. It does not have UL Listing or ETL Listing certifications, please note.
